ELLEAIR INTERNATIONAL CHINA NANTONG (DAIO PAPER CORP.)

The project is the office complex of Daio (Nantong) Consumer Products Co Ltd, a consolidated subsidiary of Daio Paper Corporation located in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China. As one of Japan’s largest paper companies, Daio Paper manufactures and sells more than 20,000 different types of paper products, including newspapers, printing paper, packaging paper containers and paperboard, toilet paper rolls, paper towels, disposable diapers for the elderly and sanitary products, etc. Under the concept of “environmental protection and humane care”, HMA planned and designed the exterior facade, interior and landscape of the entire office complex. The aim was to create an open and inclusive office environment with an emphasis on safety and security, incorporating Daio Paper’s corporate philosophy. Glass curtain walls and top lights bring ample natural light into the building and natural ventilation is possible by opening and closing the windows; LOW-E glass is used throughout and energy-saving and environmentally friendly materials such as LED lighting are used.
