HANGZHOU NINGCHENG PROJECT

This is a shopping centre renovation project located in the CBD development zone in southeastern Hangzhou. HMA is responsible for the interior design of the project, with the design concept “serene light”, mainly targeting the surrounding CBD white-collar workers, we took a simple and modern design approach to contrast the conservative architectural styles of the neighbourhood, and to transform it into the neighbourhood’s landmark. In order to achieve the ideal traffic flow throughout the commercial facilities, the indoor space was substantially adjusted to accommodate increased foot traffic. Simplicity, order, purity and sunshine are central concepts that gave birth to this shopping centre existing in harmony with nature and highlighting its metropolitan sensibilities.
